Rivers United goalkeeper, Sunday Rotimi  has expressed satisfaction with the result of his side's pre- season friendly game against Spanish Segunda B side, CD Roda

The Pride of Rivers were held to a 3-3 draw by the modest side in their second tuneup game in Spain at the Estadio Cuidad Deportivo Pamesa on Monday night.

New signing Emeka Ogbuh gave Stanley Eguma's men the lead inside the opening 10 minutes but the hosts equalized moments later through an own goal by Austine Festus.

CD Roda took the lead through Charly Garcia six minutes after the break but the visitors turned the game on its head following excellent goals by Ghanaian forward, Godbless Asamoah and Nzube Anaezaemba.

Richi however scored a late equalizer for the home side to make the scoreline 3-3.

Veteran goalkeeper, Rotimi, praised his teammates for their performance in the game even though he was sad they conceded a late equalizer.

"It was a good game and we did well in every aspect of it, but to concede a late equalizer was disappointing," Rotimi

"We are happy with the way things are going on for us at the moment and are waiting for the start of the season."

Rivers United beat Villareal B side 1-0 in their first pre-season game in Spain last week.

Rivers United are expected to return to Nigeria on Thursday, December 22.
