Moyes: Chelsea Have Quality Enough To Win EPL Title

Sunderland boss David Moyes believes Chelsea stands a good chance of winning the English Premier League title this season

Moyes added that the Blues who have won nine successive games have been effective not just because of their new 3-4-3 formation, but due to the quality of players at their disposal.

Moyes whose side suffered their 10th defeat of the season away to Swanse, is hoping his side halts Chelsea's impressive run in the EPL by picking a point off the current league leaders.

"I don't think anyone has won the league playing three at the back for a full season. At the moment it looks as if (Chelsea) they could," Moyes told newsmen during his pre-match Press Conference on Tuesday.

"People will try and find a way of beating Chelsea's system, but it's not just the system – they have real quality players."

He also revealed that the Black Cats could be without some players for the visit of the Blues on Wednesday.

"We were on a good run and we wanted to keep it going. It wasn't to be. We're now back at home and we'll try to pick points up.

"A couple of players will miss the game, so numbers are tight, but we've had that in recent weeks and picked up results."

Sunderland have picked up three wins so far this season and are rock bottom in the EPL log.
