Musa: My Brother Ndidi Can Do Kante’s Job For Leicester

Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa has described Wilfred Ndidi as a capable replacement for former Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante who joined Chelsea in the summer.

Ndidi made an impressive debut for Leicester City in their 2-1 win against Everton in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday after completing his £15million move from Genk last week.

Two goals from Musa secured the win for Leicester after Romelu Lukaku had given Everton the lead.

Speaking on Ndidi's impressive performance, Musa assured Leicester fans they should expect more from the 20-year-old.

"He is a very good player and I say my brother is here with me," Musa told Leicestermercury.co.uk.

"I feel very happy for him and you could see he played very well. You can see he will work very hard for the team.

"I am going to do my best to help him settle down. The fans can expect a lot from him and you can see what he can do.

"Definitely, in the two players, I think they are different, but I think Ndidi can do the same work that Kante can do. They are a little bit similar, yes."

And on the win against Everton, Musa stated that he always had confidence in his colleagues.

"It is a great feeling, not just for me but for all the team that we won the game," Musa said.

"From the beginning of the game we had the feeling we could win.

"I am used to playing out wide but I will play any role the manager wants me to play.

"I have been playing that position for my former club so it wasn't new for me (against Everton).

"I am used to playing on the wings, from the right, and down the centre. It is not difficult for me.

"Wherever the manager wants me to play, I will do my best there."
