Agor, a product of ASJ Academy which also produced the Nwakali brothers; Chidiebere and Kelechi, was spotted by the agents of PK Solenica following briliant outing for the Nigeria U-17 side, the Golden Eaglets, at Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup and for the U-20 national team – the Flying Eagles who failed to qualify for the 2017 CAF U-20 AFCON.
The 18-year-old went through a rigorous trials that lasted for three weeks, and is now tidying up travel arrangements for a return to Slovenia for a contract with the club.
"It was a good outing for me out there in Slovenia. I'm happy that everything went successfully", Agor said
"I came back on December 25, 2016. Right now, we are trying to get the necessary papers required so I can go back for a deal," an obviously elated Agor added.
However, Team Manager of ASJ academy, footballing right owners of the U-17 World Cup winning Golden Eaglets midfielder, Emeka Amajiriaku, corroborated his player's revelation, stressing that the player will leave for Slovenia as soon as the required papers are procured.
"We're happy everything went well in Solenica. At the moment, we are putting together papers required for him to go back for contract," Amajiriaku, a journalist, said.
"We expect the papers out latest his week so he can travel.
"Of course, it cannot be less than a two-year-deal for now," the ASJ boss further explained.
Agor, who clocked 18 years on November 26, 2016, had previously attracted interest from two English Premier League clubs; West Ham United who had then tabled a bid of €200,000, as well as Tottenham Hotspur.
The deal for the teenage Nigerian midfielder to possibly take his career to Europe was brokered by a Nigerian agent, Ikechukwu James.
